Honda Repair: 88 Honda Prelude Si Wont Start, honda prelude, alternator

Sorry, I forgot to tell you the make and year of my car, so this is the corrected question.  
Well I was driving to a friends house and when i pulled up into the drive way my car lost all power and died. Now nothing will turn on and the car wont even try to start. There were no indications of the it dying until i pulled up to the driveway. I checked the battery and it was fine, and the alternator is new. The only thing i see wrong is a wire running from the mainfuse box is disconnected. I dont know if that is the problem. It is running from the left side (standing in front of car) where the battery fuse is. No idea where it goes. Please Help - Taylor" (88 Honda Prelude Si)

I'm not sure about the wire you found, I can't really give you any good idea where it connects to. From what you describe I would check the main battery fuse and the fuse under the dash also check all the connections.
