Honda Repair: 1994 prelude si, supplemental restraint system, honda technicians

Question
my wife slid on some ice hit a curb and the airbags deploided.no damage was even done to the bumper i don't understand why the airbags went off?  what parts do i have to replace to make the car safe again? besides the driver and pass airbags.  thanks

Answer
They will need to replace the deployed airbags and the SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) control unit.
WARNING: Always make sure you know, and you understand, and follow the manufacturers instructions before working on any part of the airbag system.
As sensitive and as dangerous as the SRS can be, I recommend that you let the professional/trained Honda Technicians do the work at the dealer.
