Honda Repair: 2000 Honda Civic EX speedometer, honda civic ex, honda civic

Question
My HOnda recently started sticking on 20mph (sometimes even when turned off)  Will work sometimes when exceeding 60mph or so.  Tried changing the speed sensor, to no avail.  Car has about 60,000 miles on it.  Was told I probably need to change out the whole speedometer.  Agree?  How & where can I find a reasonable used replacement?  Thanks.

Answer
Gary, I would definitely be swapping out the Instrument Cluter. Good job on replacing the speed sensor too. You have an EX so it will cost you more due to the fact that you have a Tachometer. You can purchase one off of Ebay or I would try a local Honda Recycler. Any 1996 to 2000 Honda Civic Cluster will work too. Even the Si but those are more expensive. The choice is yours and be careful with Ebay because some parts are stolen and don't come with a warranty!
