Honda Repair: 93 civic, ngk spark plugs, genuine honda

car will start but not like it does normal. Will idle, but dies on acceleration. Wife drove it this morning and it died on the side of road. I went to tow it and got it to start with some difficulty. When I tried to drive it,it would lose all power and die. Finally got it home by carefully reving it to get it to go. If reved too quickly simply dies. any idea?

When was the last time you had the engine tuned up? It sounds like the spark plugs might be worn out. If so, you need to replace them with NGK spark plugs & genuine Honda plug wires. Also replace the distributor cap, rotor button, air filter & fuel filter. You also need to have the valves adjusted. Let me know if this helps.
