Honda Repair: smelling gas, emission test, gas tank

Question
Recently i got the emission test done for my Honada civic (92) sedan and it passed fine. After that day i'm always getting gas-smell and just yesterday when i looked at the gas needle i was sure it's leaking gas. Can you suggest me about my next action on this issue? Thanks for your attention. Regards, -Quazi

Answer
Anything in the fuel system could be causing a gas smell, from a damaged gas tank, ruptured fuel lines or something leaking gas in the engine. This is a huge fire hazard. If you smell gas, don't drive your car until it is repaired. You should find a shop or dealer & have your car towed to them so they can inspect your car.
