Began having problems with engine starting it would take more & more rotations for it to start.
Now engine turns over fine, but will not start.

Hi william, sounds to me like you have a problem with low spark/no spark. Try doing a basic tune-up. Spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, and a distributor rotor. Maybe even a new fuel filter would help with solving this issue as well. This is a very basic problem and any mechanically inclined person can find the source or solution with this issue.
