Honda Repair: Honda crv compressor, honda crv, c unit

My a/c compressor has just gone!  here is the problem, i bought the car in the UK when it was 18 months old (private sale).  The car is now not 5 years old until Jan 08, but i have since moved to Cyprus and bought the car with me!!!  Can i ring the original dealer that sold the car to the previous owner, if so how do i find out who they are, or can i ring Honda somewhere in the world that know about the problem and get them to sort it?  Or do i just shut up and pay?  Grateful for any advice.

Hi Richard, chances are you didn't pay the extra money for the transfer of the warranty into the 2nd party (you.) Honestly I would just purchase a new A/C unit and move on with life. Remember to inspect the belt for cracks or damage. I hope this helps...
