Honda Repair: honda accord ex, bolt holes, honda accord ex

Hey I have a 94 honda accord ex and i need 2 ? answered.
1. i need to replace flexplate, is a accord ex the same as an accord lx, as will the flexplates interchange.94 accord ex 2.2 vtec i have

2. I bought engine without distributor and i changed timing belt is there anything special i do or do i just put it at tdc and install distributor? thanks

Answer
1. The flex plate should work. Before you install it and put the trans back in, put the new flex plate against the torque converter your going to use and make sure all the bolt holes line up.

2. The distributer will only go on one way. Just turn the distributer till it slides in and bolt it down. It should only be able to line up one way to bolt on.
