Honda Repair: Cylinder 3 misfire, honda accord lx, cylinder motor

I have a 2000 honda accord lx with a vtech 4 cylinder motor. i just bought it recently and it keeps throwing a trouble code p0303 (cylinder 3 misfire). I have already changed out the plugs and wires. Could you tell me some other possible reasons that this is happening?

Hey Lynn,
I would check the distributor cap to see if the pins are clean or damaged. If so then I would replace the cap. Have you noticed any problems with performance? Let me know how that works out and we can take it from there if that doesn't fix the problem. Good luck.
