Honda Repair: 90 legend wont start in hot weather, weather question, hot weather

Question
QUESTION: My '90 legend will crank but won't start in hot weather.  The alarm also goes off when I open the door, again only in hot weather.  It had this problem last summer but it hasn't happened again until the sun poppeed its head out today.  It's spring break and I'd like to be able to get out of the house!!!
ANSWER: try beating on the lower drivers dash a little bit, and from the side of the dash with the door open. maybe stick your foot up there and fish around.
there is a main relay that goes out all the time.
it isn't that expensive and is fairly easy to change.
if you are up to it go ahead and grab one from the dealer(about 45$ i believe) and change it, but it is buried under the dash somewhat. we don't see many of those old legends anymore so i honestly don't have a clue where it specifially is off the top of my head.
if you would like to try it yourself rather than tow it, send me a follow up and i will look up its location on monday.

if that isn't it i'm afraid i wouldn't be able to tell you much more without being able to see the car.

QUESTION: Thank you, I was suspecting it was something like that.  I would like to know the location of the main relay (and anything else I should know to replace it) and if the part isinterchangeable between a '90 legend L (the one in question) and a '90 legend LS (another legend I own, but don't drive).  Both are 4dr sedans.
I'm not yet sure if hitting it works because the sun is hiding behind the clouds again :(, so it has been starting without a problem :).  This is my third legend and I remember having to do a similar task in one of my previous cars but I can't remember why (maybe the stereo).
Thanks again,
Emma

Answer
ya, the pics werent very good in our program, but it is right under the dash. about center in line with the brake pedal, towards the seat. sorry, its rather difficult to describe.
it is a rectangle box about 2"x4". it will have a large 8prong plug.

if you just get on the floorboard on your back with a flashlight you should see it. the only thing holding it on will be 1 or 2 10mm bolts in the bracket the relay is attached to.

any similar year part will change on the same model. the trims are only accessory stuff.
