Honda Repair: 1988 civic lx, electrical problem, civic lx

The car starts fine when we drive it usually less than 5 miles and turn it off the car will not restart when we try to start it if we wait a few hours it will start just fine.

Hi Darrell, This could several reasons for this, It could be your fuel filter,but most likely its an electrical problem..The distributor. You may need to try and replace the coil in it first before you got out and buy a new one. This is  a common problem with Honda's  from 1990- 1993. let me know the results
