Honda Repair: Oil Warning Light, oil seals, light thanks

Question
Thanks for the fast reply.  I have a follow-up.  I'm no mechanic, but is it not easier and less expensive to change the sensor first as opposed to the oil pump?

1991 Honda Accord.  Oil warning light comes on when idling in "D" at stop light or stopped in traffic.  Not on when moving or idle in Neutral.  Oil level checked and it's OK.  Is the problem the Oil Pressure Sensor or oil pump?  Can it be pinpointed or is it a change the sensor and if that doesn't work change the pump kind of thing.  Had several leaking oil seals/gaskets changed along with the water pump 6-7 weeks ago and everything has been fine until today.  Thanks for the help.

really you can pin point the problem but you are also looking at a hit and miss situation. i would replace the oil pump first to see if it handles the problem.

Answer
it is cheaper, but it sound to me like it isnt getting pressure at certain moments. the sensor i am sure would loose pressure indication constantly if it was bad. try to see how much a sensor is and replace it but keep in mind that you are probably looking to replace both.
