Question
i have a 1993 Civic DX with the 1.5

the car has no spark i have replaced the distributer, cap, rotor, wires, and plugs, and still no spark and no start could it be the ECM or a crank or cam sensor?

Answer
check your firing order. http://re3.mm-a6.yimg.com/image/3460912756

if it isnt that try doing this. wear rubber gloves. take a spark plug out of the motor. put it in the wire. touch some part of the metal to ground. usually on the distributor is fine. have someone else turn the key. if the plug sparks you just have the firing order backwards.

if there is no spark you may have a bad igniter in the distributor or a bad starter or maybe the wrong size cap or from the wrong year. it is rarely the ecu or the sensors like you said. usually it is the igniter or maybe your ecu fuse blew because a wire accidentally grounded. check all your fuses under the hood and in the kick pannel under the steering wheel.

dont try to start it too much or you will keep flooding the motor and it will never start. try taking all 4 plugs out and let it sit over night. then put them in and use the correct firing order and see if it starts.
