Honda Repair: Recall? or something different., dashboard lights, honda odyssey

Question
Hello,
I understand that the recall notice called 00V183000 for a 2000 Honda Odyssey EX-N might take care of the dashboard lights that won't light, but I also have a few other side effects that started the same time as the dashboard lights went out.
I also get no warning chime if the headlamps are left on as I exit the vehicle.
There is no blink of the parking lights as I hit the remote keylock button.  The locks lock, and on the second press, the horn bleeps, but no parking light blink.
Also the TCS light comes on ocasionaly during normal hiway driving.  Key off then key on will clear it, and pressing the TCS button can turn the TCS light on and off, but once the light comes on "for no reason" it can't be cleared by the button on the dash.   Any ideas would be great!!

Thanks, Doug

Answer
Call the dealership about the recall.  They can check by your vin if this applies.

I would check and make sure that the door jamb switch for in the interior lights on the drivers door isn't broken. You can swap with the right side to test if need be.  They are the same.  Its located on the post where the stickers are located.

Is the Check engine light on?  If it is the TCS light will come on as well.  If it comes on without the check engine light being on then there is a problem with the TCS.  You would have to have that diagnosed by the dealer because we don't have problems with that system.
