Honda Repair: 89 Honda Prelude Si 2.0Fi, honda prelude, distributor cap

It does'nt squeel it sounds fine runs fine all but it kinda sounds like its not getting a constant amount of fuel or its missing or misting however you
say it. I was gonna replace the distributor cap but i dont know if it is a TEC or Hitachi does it matter?

Yes, it matters and I don't remember how to tell you which one is which.  Never got good enough at figuring that out.  I would take it with me to the dealer and have them match it up.  Make sure you replace the plugs and wires as well.  Also do not go cheap with the wires as the cheap ones will cause you more problems than they are worth.  Pay the extra and get the good factory wires.  They seldom go bad.
