Honda Repair: Brake pedal height, slide pins, abs brake

Question
On my recently acquired 96 Accord - 4 cylinder no ABS:  Brake pedal engages very low.  I first checked the pads and shoes - plenty left.  Then I had the lines bled.  Then I replaced the master cylinder.  No change.   I've been told by people who claim to know that there is no brake pedal adjustment on Accords from 96 on.  Do I have to replace the power unit or is there a way to adjust the pedal height

Answer
No adjustment to the brake pedal engagement point.  The only thing that I have ever seen is the slide pins on the front calipers frozen.  This doesn't let the caliper slide and the piston must push out much farther.  Remove both front calipers and make sure both pins are sliding.
