Honda Repair: 89 accord no brake lights, horn sound, no shift, fuse box, horn sound

Question
89 accord, with 230,000, miles we have no brake lights, and when you depress the brakes a horn sounds, also you cant shift out of park w/out using a key in the shift lock. we replaced the brake switch, it worked for a day, we thought that was the problem, but now it is back to not working. fuses are all ok, we dont know what else to do. thanks for any info you might have.

Answer
Darice, the circuit in question runs through the No.4 20A fuse in the under hood fuse box and supplies all the issues in question. Try disconnecting each part of the circuit individually to try and isolate the problem.(i.e. disconnect both horns then try brake lights) The only thing I've seen is the horns shorting to ground but that causes the fuse to blow? Try that and let me know RICK
