Honda Repair: Headlight and Tail Light Question, dash light, electrical surge

  I own a 1994 Honda Accord LX Sedan. I have recently been going through headlights and tail lights fairly often. I replaced my headlights in the beginning of march and one went out 2 days ago, than the other went out a day after. And Now today my brake light went out after about 3 months when I put in new ones. I replaced my headlights and Im worried if there is a electrical problem these ones will blow right away too. I'm not sure if this will help pinpoint anything, but my cruise control light on the dash will vary from bright to dim when Im driving with it on, and when the dash light goes out, the cruise stops working. Do you think there could be some sort of electrical surge going on. Any help will be greatly aprreciated.

Would want to have someone test the alternator and made sure it isn't running hot.  Sounds like it may be overcharging.  The cruise is probably a different problem but it may be related.  Would want to fix the charging problem before anything else is addressed.
