Honda Repair: 90 accord belt or fan problem, radiator fan motor, heater fan

I recently purchased a 90 honda accord with 244k on it. Seller told me that there is a problem with the heater fan. I don't know if this is what I am describing or a whole different can of worms.

A whining noise comes from the car intermitently. Today it was coming from it and I parked and turned the enggine off and in continued for about 5 minutes after it was off. I opened the hood but couldn't locate any belts or fan that was running that I could see. Keep in mind I am no mechanic here. I guess that's pretty obvious or I wouldn't be here in the first place. Thanks for your help.

Sounds like the same problem I have with my 1993 Acc.  The radiator fan motor is probably going bad.  Mine is as well.  It makes a lot of noise when it comes on.  You will need to replace this assembly.  I would check with the aftermarket before you go to the dealership as that motor is very expensive from the dealership.
