Honda Repair: Radio display, radio unit, honda dealer

Hey Rick how are you? I just bought a 2003 honda accord it has 48,383 miles.I've have it alomost two weeks now. And today my distplay light for the radio and the heat & a/c has went out. I was wondering if it's something that i can fix maybe a fuse or something simple.Now my dash lights work just fine but i don't have a display for the radio annd heat and air cotrols.

Hey Patrick I'm fine thanks, What you have is a known concern too HONDA and a technical service bulletin has been released. The problem lies in the radio unit and has to be repaired by a HONDA dealer by replacing the audio unit. If out of warranty this could be expensive. I'd contact your HONDA dealer with your VIN and ask about your warranty and explain your situation for verification. They can tell you if you have any warranty. Good luck Pat, RICK
