Honda Repair: 2000 Honda Odyssey wont start, honda odyssey, auto part store

Question
My 2000 Honda Odyssey will not start cranks but will not start or fire.  I only have this problem with the initial start once started wherever I go and go to start it again it starts right up.  Sometimes it will also start up the first time on the initial start.  Sometimes it takes hours for it to start.  It is currently in the driveway two days now and can' get it started.  Brought it twice for code scan came up multiple misfire in cylinders 4,5,6.  Honda dealer says bad fuel injectors but we don't agree any suggestions, we are thinking fuel regulator could it be that. Everything is up to date as far as tune ups, spark plugs etc. Also once got code for bad oxygen sensor at an auto part store. We would appreciate any suggestions.  Thanks Jen

Answer
Jennifer, I'm not sure why you do not agree with dealer as it does sound reasonable. It also seems reasonable to be the fuel regulator and that should be diagnoses to let you know if that is the problem. As for the O2 sensor code, beware of diagnosing based on the computer readings. The codes tell what is showing signs of a problem but that component may not be the problem at all, you still need to diagnosis why the O2 sensor is reading bad as it may be the fuel injectors or regulator.
Sorry I can't be of more help.
