Honda Repair: 93 Accord buyer, honda accord, going the distance

Question
How's it going, I recently just bought myself a 93 Honda Accord with a little under 200k miles. ive heard of honda's going the distance but is there anything u would recomend to get checked on my car?

Answer
Chris, The first thing you want to replace is the timing belt if you don't know when it was last replaced. Honda recommends replacing every 90K miles because if it breaks you can do a lot of damage. It is expensive to have the timing belt replaced ($500-$600). As long as the car was maintained and you continue to check the fluids regularly since the car has a lot of miles you want to pay close attention to it.
