Toyota: Check engine 2002 corolla, cut wire, sympatico ca, returs

Hi, sensor light went on for "check engine", i checked under the hood, i found an unplugged wire.

What wire is that, what does it connect to and how bad is it if it's not fixed right away?

sorry I don't know what this cable does connect to.. but if your check engine light is on, maybe it's something involved with the ignition system.
Go to an official toyota dealer, they have a tester which connected to your system can tell you the correct error code your ECU returs, and see where the problem is!
