Honda Repair: 97 Honda Accord with many problems, cell phone service, honda accord

Question
I have a 97 Honda Accord SE that has had problems with transmission, air conditioning, brakes, steering, suspension, alignment and tires. Today I got the timing belt replaced (at 90,000 miles) along with the water pump. When I picked it up, the first thing I noticed after turning it on is that it's suddenly very loud, like a race car revving, especially when I'm going slow or in park. Also, when I turn the wheel, there is a grinding noise (I don't know why this started after having the timing belt worked on) and the struts creak badly whenever I go over a bump. The guy who worked on the car said the new timing belt sounded fine to him, but I know that's not how my car sounded two days ago and I drive a lot on highways in the middle of the night (due to job) where cell phone service is spotty and I'm afraid it will break or something while I'm driving. Please help!

You should take your car back into the mechanic and have him drive the car. Having the timing belt replaced is a big job, if the belt is not installed correctly and if the car is not put back correctly that may be the cause of your problems. I would try to get this guy to fix the car without charging you, if he does great and NEVER go back to him. If they want to charge you I would not let him do the work. Just my opinion.
Good luck. Let me know how it turns out.
