Honda Repair: 1987 Honda Civic starting problems, gibe, honda civic

Had trouble starting, new plugs, battery ok fuel filter ok. If we do get it started sputers a little until warmed up. Don't let it die or it won't start again, could it be the fuel pump are they intermentent. And where on the car does it say it is SI CRX,etc., mine is a 1500 with a 1.5.

Yes it could be an intermittent fuel pump causing the problem; you may also want to check the cold start valve. As for the car type, the best thing to do is check the VIN and the info you are looking for is embedded into the number. You can usually call a dealer and gibe them your VIN and they can decode it for you.
