Honda Repair: 91 Civic Tie Rod Torque, tie rod ends, torque specification

Question
I just bought a used '91 Civic LX but the previous owner didn't have the manual.  I'm going to replace the outer tie rod ends on either side, but I'm not sure what torque to tighten to.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, as well as any pointers for the removal/installation.

Answer
Brian:
The torque specification for the tie rod end is 32 ft. lbs. This should be a fairly straight forward removal and installation. As I'm sure you know you will need to take the car in for an alignment. I would also suggest you get a Haynes or Chilton repair manual if you are going to do any amount of work on your car, it will save you a lot of headaches.
Good luck.
