Honda Repair: 91 accord timing belt, timing belt, accord lx

Question
I just got a 91 Accord LX from the original owner and it has 73K miles.  The timing belt has never been replaced but it is still below the recomended milage for this.  Do you think it is OK to wait till 90K, or should I just go ahead and do it now?
Thanks.
Brian

Answer
I wouldn't worry about it but I would change it to save the life of the car and that is quite amazing that you found one that year  with such low miles.... but it should be fine to put a couple thousand more miles on it just check the teeth on the timing belt and do a basic check on the belt to see if there is any tears or if it looks worn down in any way.
