Honda Repair: 1994 Honda Accord Speedometer and ABS, vehicle speed sensor, honda acoord

Question
I have a 1994 Honda Acoord LX. My Speedometer quit working about a year ago. When I turn the key, the speedometer reads right around "20" Right away. I read earlier that the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) was probably the problem, so I changed that, and it didn't fix it. Some mornings when it is cooler, it will work for MAYBE 2-3 miles then it will jump to 20 and quit working. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

My other problem is with my ABS light. When I start my car, the light does not turn on. I can back up for miles if I wanted to, and the light will not come on, but as soon as I start moving forward, I hear a "click" noise from by my glovebox, than the light comes on. I have no clue how to fix it and I would appreciate any help.

Thanks,

I would check the electrical connections for the speedometer and VSS for that you may need a wiring diagram to trace. Since the speedometer works sometimes I would bet on a bad connection.
As for the ABS, you will need to obtain the code to begin to diagnosis. Unplug the service check connector cover located under the glove box. Then bridge the two terminals of the service check with a jumper wire. Turn the ignition to on, but do not start the engine. Two seconds after you turn the ignition on, the ABS computer will begin to display any stored code by blinking on and off. The sequence begins with a two second pause followed by a series of blinks (main code) followed by a one second pause followed by another series (sub code) if any, followed by a five second pause, then the next main code and sub code blinks. Another five second pause and more codes. The computer can store up to three code series. If you miscount, then you need to turn the switch back off before beginning again. There are too may codes for me to list, but send a follow-up to this with the codes and I will tell you what the codes are.
Good luck.
