Questionwhen i bought the car i wouldnt start until i poured gas into the intake so i thought it was the fuel pump so i changed it only to find the same problem so after alot of money and months i changed the pcm...it started but now my dilima is how do i erase the service engine light....i also tried to relearn the tp learn/idle and also tried to clear the pcm codes. if its still not completely learned what do you think i am doing wrong?
AnswerP080 is an incomplete IDLE learn procedure not completed.
You can try and clear the code by:
1. Turn ignition switch ON, Do NOT start the engine. Simultaneously push and the OFF and WARMER buttons on your climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them.
2. The code will appear and the display will stop at PCM?
3. Push and release the HI button and you will see PCM DATA?
4. Continue to push and release the LO button until you see PCM CLEAR CODES?
5. Push and release the HI button and you will see PCM CODES CLEAR.
6. Wait 3 seconds and push AUTO and turn OFF the ignition key.
