Honda Repair: Prelude overheating wheel, brake caliper, honda prelude

Question
Hi Bill,
I have a 1993 Honda Prelude 2.3 with 150,000 miles on the clock. While driving I sometimes get a vibration from the steering wheel. Its similar to the front wheels being really out of balance. On checking the wheels you can smell a tremendous amount of heat coming from the front n/s wheel way too hot to touch.I replaced the brake caliper as I thought I had a seized caliper but the problem persists.I have jacked up the car and tried to turn the wheel when it is hot but I cannot budge it.After the problem started the abs light stayed on for a couple of days but it's now back to normal.I had the abs sensor replaced in that wheel about 8 months ago.Can you offer any possible explanation as I don't feel the car is safe to drive at the moment.
 Many thanks

Thomas:
Sorry for the delay in responding. The vibration is probably due to a warped rotor. My thoughts are that the proportioning valve, but most likely the ABS system is malfunctioning and not allowing the caliper to bleed back. I have not dealt with ABS so I cannot give a specific fix or diagnosis. A couple of questions to consider. Does the wheel move freely after cool down? Does car pull noticeably to the side that is having problems all the time? Was the ABS sensor replaced because of this problem? I know I got more questions than answers.
Sorry I can't be of more help.
Bill
