Honda Repair: Scheduled maintenance, ac filter, auto parts store

Question
According to the owners manual I should change the brake fluid and the AC filter on my 2001 Accord at this point.  On the brake fluid, do I just empty the reservoir and refill it or is there a method to also empty and refill the lines? Also is the AC filter something I can change. If so how?

Answer
Ed:
You need to empty the reservoir and refill. To replace the fluid in the lines you need to bleed the brakes. You need to be careful not to get air in the brake lines or your brakes will not operate correctly. To bleed the system, you need to work on one brake at a time by loosening the fitting and have someone press on the brakes to get the fluid through the lines. You may want to purchase a repair manual from an auto parts store (about $15) that will go into more details. As for the A/C filter, that is something I have never (had to) replace so I really do not know.
Sorry I can't be of more help.
