Honda Repair: Brake Lights, honda civic hatchback, honda civic

Help! My brake lights on my 96 Honda Civic Hatchback DX are not working, but all the other lights still work.  I changed the bulbs and the fuse, but still no brake lights.  What else could it be? And is it something I could fix myself?

If you have made sure the fuses are good and the bulbs are good, then I would suspect it is in the wiring. There is probably a short in the wiring somewhere and these are very time consuming problems. You would need a meter to be able to check all the connections to find out where the problem is. Wiring problems are some of the more difficult to figure out, I would have to suggest you find a mechanic to help.
