Honda Repair: Drivers Door will not open or unlock, accord lx

I have a 1990 Accord LX that I bought new.  I have put 226,000 + miles on her.  I have recently had a problem with the key turning in the drivrer's side door lock.  Now the key will not unlock that door and I can not open the doorfrom either the outside or inside.  How can the door panel be removed without opening the door or can the door be open by removing the inside door handle?

PS It's not easy climbing in thru the passenger side.

HEY SEEMS LIKE YOUR LOCKING MECHANISM IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY OR IS FRIED SO GO GET A NEW LOCK MOTOR AND YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO TAKE THE DOOR HANDLE OFF AND MAYBE A ROD THAT CONNECTS TO THE LOCK FELL OFF AND JUST NEEDS TO BE PUT BACK ON SO CHECK THAT AND YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO PULL THE ROD AND IT SHOULD POP OPEN PULL OR PUSH IT AND THAT SHOULD WORK ALRIGHT.
