Honda Repair: 2000 Prelude will not start, actully, fuel line

Question
Ryan,

I have a 2000 Prelude with the 2.2 ltr VTECH.  I came home from work and parked it. The car was running normal.  No indication of troubles AT ALL!  I got up to go to work the next day.  When I tried to start the car nothing would happen except turning of the engine.  I have checked spark - good.  I can hear the fuel pump pressurizing the system when you first turn the key.  I was low on fuel but not totally empty.  I did put 5 gals of fuel in it and tried to start again with no avail.  Checked all fuses, had no engine indications and I even put an ODBII reader on it and everything passed.  What's up with this?  ...any ideas or sgguestions?

I appreciate any help or suggestions,
Thanks -
Chip

Answer
First off...Nice car

now down to the dirty...you said you hear the fuel pump pressurize...does it pump?  Take the fuel line off stick it in a small bucket a crank it over.  check if fuel come out the line to make sure its actully hitting the engine.

If that doesnt work...wow 2000 you shouldnt be having these problems...ummm try that and get back to me if it has fuel ill do some more research on this
