Honda Repair: blower motor, master ase, blower motor

Question
I have a 90  Accord DX, 4 door. The blower motor turns very slowly--speed changes very little when I change the switch to a higher setting.  Sometimes the motor won't even start until I manually turn it.  Can the motor be repaired or does it need to be replaced?  How complicated is replacing it?

Answer
Dave,

Sounds like you need a new blower motor.
There is really no way to repair it. You will have to replace it.
On your car it is very difficult to replace. If you plan on doing it yourself, I would buy a service manual and be sure you have a good selection of tools. Otherwise, I would take it to someone to replace it for you.
Good luck.
