Honda Repair: Honda srs system repair, srs system, honda civic

I have a 1996 Honda Civic dx 5 speed w/air and the SRS light is on all the time. Can you tell me what to check.

You have a problem with the cars Supplmental Restraint System. You need to take it to a shop and have them hook up the computer. This will tell them what code is stored in the computer, then they can tell you what is wrong. Maybe an airbag or possibly a control unit. Otherwise there is not much you can do on your own.
