Honda Repair: car want start, 1986 honda civic, honda civic

hello.i have a 1986 honda civic and i think my fuel pump is bad. i tried to start my car and it wouldnt start. i put some gas in the carb and it started up.than died is it my fuel pump are my relay fuse.please help

Sounds like you figured out why the car is not running. Now just to pinpoint the problem.
You need to check the fuel pressure. Is fuel really getting to the carb.? If it is, then you probally have sunken floats. If no pressure is there, then you have a bad pump or a bad fuse. Check all fuses.
