Honda Repair: Brakes, vaccum pump, acura integra

Question
Hi Gene, I have a 1990 Acura Integra 1.8L,no ABS, stick. I recently changed one of my rear calipers because it was binding, the car was sitting for 5 years. After bleeding the brakes, they were nice and tight. After driving for about an hour when I stepped on the brakes the car would slow down but as I put more pressure the brake pedel would slowly continue to go down,as though I were loosing pressure.I replaced the Master Cyl. and the power booster. The same problem continues I've bled the lines two more times with the same results. I have no fluid lose and all the brake lines are leak free. Can you help? Dave

Answer
Dave,
Sounds like you made sure that you have no air in the lines, that is important. You also replaced the master cylinder. Did you check all the other calipers. Are the slides free and not binding? If you have a stiff slider on any of the  other calipers, it can cause a soft pedal.
Otherwise you need to pressure bleed the brakes with a vaccum pump.
Good luck
Gene
