Question
how do i change the bearings on 2001 hyundai santa fe front wheel drive

Answer
Hi, Fidel.  You're going to need a hydraulic press to do this job.  If you do not have access to one, you'll need to remove the steering knuckles and take them to a machine shop (or other shop) that will press the old bearings out and the new bearings in.  Below is the procedure.

1.  Set the parking brake.
2.  Loosen the lug nuts on the front wheels.
3.  Jack the front of the vehicle off the ground and support with jack stands.
4.  Remove the front wheels.
5.  Remove the wheel speed sensors from the knuckles.  (If the bolt will or the sensor will not come out, you'll need to unplug the sensor and take the wiring loose so that the sensor can be transported to the press along with the knuckle.)
6.  Separate the tie rod ends from the knuckles.
7.  Remove the lower 14mm bolt on each brake caliper, rotate the calipers up, and remove from the caliper bracket.
8.  Remove the 17mm bolts and remove the caliper brackets.
9.  Remove the bolts attaching the knuckles to the struts.
10.  Remove the pinch bolt attaching the knuckles to the ball joints.
11.  Remove the axle nut cotter pins and loosen the nut to where it's easily removed by hand.
12.  Separate the knuckles from the struts and ball joints.
13.  Remove the axle nuts and remove the knuckles.
14.  Press the wheel hubs out of the bearings.
15.  Remove the bearing retaining rings.
16.  Press the bearings out of the knuckles.
17.  Press the new bearings into the knuckles.
18.  Install the snap rings.  (New will likely be preferable.)
19.  Press the wheel hubs into the bearings.
20.  Install the knuckles on the ball joints.
21.  Install the ball joint pinch bolts and cotter pins.
22.  Making sure the axle splines are inserted through the wheel hubs, bolt the knuckles to the struts.
23.  Install the caliper brackets.
24.  Install the calipers.
25.  Install the axle nuts with new cotter pins.
26.  Attach the tie rod ends with new cotter pins.
27.  Install the wheels and lug nuts.
28.  Lower the vehicle.
29.  Tighten the lug nuts.
