Hyundai Repair: Alternator, hyundai elantra, thread pitch

What size is the alternator adjustment bolt for a 2002 Hyundai Elantra? I broke and no one seems to know. I know its 12mm to take it off but there is another measurement I need to get it replace

Hi, Maria.  The adjuster bolt is M8 x 1.25 thread pitch and is about 80mm long.  Take note, though, that this bolt isn't actually necessary to tension the alternator belt and lock the alternator in place.  Even without this bolt, you can pry the alternator to the achieve the proper belt tension and then tighten the lock-down bolt while prying on the alternator.
