I need to know if there are any pictures available to show how to remove the window crank.  I am trying to replace an exterior door handle but the inside crank has to be removed in order to do so.

Hi, Gail.  The only pictures for this I know of are in the service manuals at www.hmaservice.com.  As I look at the manual for your car, it notably only shows the procedure for power windows.  If you select a 1999 Accent, it'll show a picture illustrating using a rag to pull the clip off the window crank, releasing the crank.  I've had only limited success using this method.

Here's what I do:
1.  Make a note of the crank position when the window is in the full up position.  
2.  Roll the window about halfway down, leaving the crank in the straight up position.
3.  Insert a screwdriver downward between the plastic washer and the crank, and pry back on the washer (holding the washer still) while turning the crank.  Within a few attempts, this will typically push the clip off the crank.
