Hyundai Repair: 2003 Hyundai Accent timing belt, hyundai accent, crank sensor

Question
I asked the following question on 7/25/2010, but couldn't find it to update it with additional info:
"2003 Hyundai Accent has 93507 miles on it. The timing belt broke when taking off from a red light in 2nd gear. We replaced the timing belt and the camshaft pulley hole is at 12 o'clock and I can see the timing mark on the camshaft bearing cap right behind it. And the crankshaft sprocket timing mark is pointed at the timing mark (dimple) on the engine block at about 1 o'clock. All the marks line up, but the car will not start. There doesn't seem to be any spark at the plug when grounded to the block and I can't smell any gas in the engine compartment. Did the CKP sensor blow when the belt broke  or is there something else you could suggest we check?"
Additional info:It is actually a 2004 Accent. We checked the compression and all 4 cylinders were at 195 lbs(specs say std value 218, limit is 203) and they did not bleed off. So, we're thinking the valves are ok even though 195 lbs is less than the specs. Went ahead and replaced the CKP sensor. The car still won't start. Thank you in advance for your help.

Answer
Presuming the old o-ring was removed with the old sensor and the new sensor is installed properly, we should be able to assume the crank sensor isn't the issue.

All four cylinders being a little low on compression is consistent with (but not conclusive evidence of) the sheared camshaft dowel I mentioned in my previous answer.  I do agree, however, that at 195 PSI on all cylinders, I'd expect none of the valves to be bent.
