Hyundai Repair: 2002 Elantra 2.0 ltr. 4 cyl, throttle position sensor, crank sensor

Question
I have replaced the MAP sensor/Throttle Position Sensor-car at times will jerk and loose power-at intersections when I come to a complete stop sometimes will completely stall, but start up immediatly-car has 114k on it-this is a very sporatic problem, I can drive for over 100 miles without problem-but then again it can happen 3-5 times in a row shortly after start up-any ideas?

Answer
Could be the crank sensor, but I don't feel like this is at least a 50% guess.  Did you check to see if there are any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) stored in the engine control module (ECM).  Sometimes you get lucky and the incident was enough to set a code which in turn will tell you the nature of the problem.
