Hyundai Repair: temp guage goes hot but engine is not, coolant level, radiator fans

Question
My temp sensor went out and temp went hot got sensor fixed now temp keeps going red
Hot how do I reset temp gauge?

Answer
Hi, Ivan.  There's no reset for the temperature gauge.  In fact, it's odd that a defective temperature sensor would cause the engine to run hot, so if you have indeed replaced the temperature sensor, I'm doubtful that the overheating is fixed.

If you can provide answers to the following, I may be able to assist you in solving your problem:
1.  How do you know the engine isn't running hot?
2.  Is the coolant level at the top of the radiator (check cold)?
3.  Can you tell me specifically what component you replaced?  If you're not sure, describe where it goes, whether it has an electrical connector, etc.
4.  Do the radiator fans run when the air conditioning is turned on?
