GM-GMC: Cruise control,ABS light,Blower, blower motor resistor, aftermarket cruise control

Question
I have a 1995 GMC Pickup.  and an 89 Chevy Van.
My ABS light came on one night and my blower and cruise went off at that momemt.  Then the next day the light was off and the cruise control worked. Once I turned on my blower it failed to work and at that moment the ABS light came on and the cruise control went off also. Can you help me?.....Also my blower and my cruise just stopped working on my Chevy Van .....Whats the deal?...What do I need to do to Fix these problems.....No one seems to know......I would appreciate your help.

Answer
The 1995 GMC has On-board Diagnostics (OBD) and I would see if a code has been set to indicate what the problem with the ABS is.  Many auto parts stores have code readers and will check them for free.

The 1989 van could have problems ranging from blown fuses, to a burnt out blower motor or blower motor resistor to a defective blower switch.  Cruise controls on GM products are known to have recurrent problems with the control unit.  I could never get the factory cruise to work properly on my 1983 G-20.  I finally solved the problem by buying an aftermarket cruise control on eBay and installing it because it was much simpler to troubleshoot.
