2005 Hyundai Sonata:The car locks automatically no reason.Called the dealer a couple of years ago and they told me how to fix it,I should of wrote it down it was a simple fix.Called them again nobody seems to know anything about fixing them now said I must bring it in for them to look at it.

If the vehicle is unlocked with the remote and the vehicle doesn't see the driver's door open, it will relock the doors after 30 seconds to prevent the car from inadvertently being left unlocked by unintentionally hitting the unlock button on the remote.

The prime suspect should be the driver's door switch; if it doesn't close the circuit, the vehicle will not know the door has been open.
