Hyundai Repair: high beam lights, beam lights, dash light

do the light come on automatically when dark and does dash light up blue when hi beams come on for a 2009 elantra

Answer
Automatic lamps are not available on the 2009 Elantra.  If you'd like, you can simply leave the lights on all the time.  When the key is removed from the ignition and the driver's door is opened, the lamps will go out automatically.  In addition, the headlamps themselves will not illuminate if the ignition is off.

There is a blue hi-beam indicator in the cluster.
