Hyundai Repair: Transmission, throttle position sensor, scan tool

Question
i have a 2006 Santa Fe, transmission has been flushed at 80,000 and replaced fluid at 45,000.  while driving the car will down shift and the rpm's will jump up. After I hit the gas again the rpm's will drop and the car will drive ok .  This matter seems to be happening more often.  What should I look for and ask the dealer?

Answer
If you're not planning any in-depth diagnosis on your own, simply check the transmission fluid level.  If it's okay, the next steps will require a scan tool to read data from the transmission and engine control module.

Simply take the vehicle to the dealer and explain what is happening.  They'll do the rest.

This could be an issue with the throttle position sensor, but it could be internal in the transmission as well.
