Motorcycle Repair: help, starter button, starter motor

Question
i have a 82 honda cb1100 i keep blowing solenoide fuse i am wiring it and i just replaced the clutch i have a diagram but it is not so clear any idea what is causing the short or where i should start

Answer
If the main fuse is blowing, there has to be a short to the solenoid supply line.  The solenoid connects the battery direct to the starter motor, there is no fuse in that line so the draw of the solenoid itself causes the fuse to blow, or there is a short in the starter button.  Investigate that first, and check for scuffed wires.  Good luck,  Jan
