Hyundai Repair: Installing Air Conditioner in a 2005 Hyundai Accent, hyundai accent, freon

Hi Mr. Sengur,

My name is Robert and I am a proud owner of a 2005 Accent. I bought it new but without air, because I was trying to be
thrifty, but its been blazingly hot and humid the last 2
years in San Diego. My question is it possible to install an air conditioner system on my car by myself or should I let the dealer handle it? The car is still under warranty with only 30,300 miles on the odo. I thank you for your time.

Hello Robert,
Air condition installation is a complicated job. I highly reccommend you to take your vehicle to a dealer. After installation , they need to make some adjustments and charge the system with freon. Also, dealer installed parts are covered by warranty.
